Here at Nuvoda, we have developed a sustainable intensification technology that increases the performance of wastewater bioreactors. This technology uses an organic media (BioKarrier™) that is derived from a natural plant material, which is eco-friendly, renewable, and CO2 sequestering. It is grown on our farms in North Carolina and provides an additional income source for farmers, agricultural jobs, and communities. This BioKarrier™ media is the heart of the MOB process, which is the next generation of wastewater process intensification technology.
